The lab fermenter is a desktop lab fermenter with flexible configuration, easy operation and extremely small footprint. It adopts a full computer touch screen control system and a color touch screen display. It has powerful expansion functions and supports up to 24 fermentation parameter controls. Lab fermenter is an experimental platform for fermentation process condition research and precision cultivation.
The main function of a lab fermenter is to provide a system for controlling environmental conditions to meet the growth and metabolic requirements of the organism. These environmental conditions include temperature, oxygen, nutrient concentration, pH, and agitation. By controlling these parameters of the lab fermenter, the growth of the organism and the production of the product can be optimized.
The main components of a lab fermenter
(1)The tank of lab fermenter is mainly used to culture and ferment various bacteria, and has good sealing performance;
(2)There is a stirring paddle in the tank of lab fermenter, which is used for continuous stirring during the fermentation process;
(3)The Sparger with bottom ventilation of lab fermenter is used to introduce air or oxygen required for bacterial growth;
(4)There are control sensors on the top plate of the lab fermenter, commonly used are pH electrodes and DO electrodes, which are used to monitor the changes in pH and DO of the fermentation liquid during the fermentation process;
(5)The controller of the lab fermenter is used to display and control the fermentation conditions, etc.

How to use and operate a small lab fermenter
(1) Calibrate the pH electrode and dissolved oxygen electrode of the lab fermenter;
(2) Sterilize the lab fermenter. Add the culture medium to the tank as needed, seal it as required, and then put it into a large sterilizer for sterilization;
(3) After the lab fermenter is cooled, place it on the fermentation table and install it properly; turn on the cooling water, turn on the air pump power, connect the ventilation pipe to start ventilation, and adjust the air intake knob to make the ventilation volume appropriate; turn on the power of the lab fermenter, set the temperature, pH, stirring speed, etc., and set the dissolved oxygen electrode;
(4) After the temperature is stable and all parameters are correct, connect the pre-shaken seeds, start the fermentation timer, and start recording various parameters;
(5) After the fermentation is completed, clean the lab fermenter and the electrode, and insert the electrode into the triangular flask for standby use;
